Privacy Policy

JITSUNE (the "Service") is operated as a sole proprietorship. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") sets out how we handle user information on the Service. The Service compares and displays love hotel rates in Tokyo and calculates a reference price index, "JITSUNE," based on price reports from users. No membership registration is required, and we never ask you to enter personally identifying information such as your name or email address.

The Service is operated by an individual (a sole proprietor), not by a corporation.

2. Information we collect

2-1. Information collected through the price report form (entered voluntarily by users)

When you use a hotel's "Report a price" feature, we collect the following. All of it is information about rates only and does not include anything that identifies the person entering it (name, contact details, etc.).

• Date and time of use (time is optional)
• Plan type (rest, service time, overnight, short stay, etc.)
• Room type (optional)
• The amount actually paid
• The cheapest rate available at that time (optional)

2-2. Information collected automatically

• IP address: used solely to prevent duplicate or fraudulent price reports. It is not stored as-is; only a hashed value (SHA-256) that cannot be reversed is stored.
• Access logs: standard server access records (date and time, pages viewed, etc.).
• Cookies (see "5. About cookies" for details).

2-3. Information collected through the contact form

If you use the contact form, we collect the content of your inquiry and, if you would like a reply, the email address you optionally provide. The email address is used solely to respond to you and for no other purpose.

3. Purpose of use

We use the collected information for the following purposes.

• To calculate and display the reference price index "JITSUNE" (the median of amounts actually paid)
• To review price reports (moderation) and prevent fraudulent or duplicate submissions
• To operate, maintain and improve the Service safely
• To respond to inquiries

4. External services and provision to third parties

Except as required by law, the operator does not provide collected information to third parties. In providing the Service, however, we use the following external services. When maps are displayed, communication takes place from the viewer's browser to each service, and information such as the IP address may be transmitted.

5. About cookies

The Service uses the minimum necessary cookies to keep form submissions secure (CSRF protection) and to maintain sessions. We do not use cookies for access analytics (such as Google Analytics) or for advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but if you do, some features—such as submitting the price report form—may become unavailable.

6. Retention period and security management

Price reports are used to calculate JITSUNE after moderation (content review). Because JITSUNE is calculated from reports over the most recent 90 days, older reports are excluded from the calculation. IP addresses are stored in hashed form as described above and are not retained as-is. The operator strives to prevent the leakage, loss or damage of collected information.

7. Requests for disclosure, correction or deletion

Because the Service does not collect information that identifies individuals, such as names or email addresses, we may in general be unable to respond to requests for disclosure or deletion of data on an individually identified basis. If you would like a specific price report deleted, or have any request regarding this Policy, please contact us via "8. Contact." We will review your request and respond to the extent possible.

9. Age requirement

Given that the Service handles pricing information for love hotels, it is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18.

10. Changes to this Policy

The content of this Policy may be changed without notice in line with changes to laws or to the Service. Any changes take effect once posted on this page.
